The project in a few words

Did you know that in Wallonia, nine out of ten homes will need to be renovated in the coming years? A staggering figure, reflecting the climate, energy, and social challenges posed by the transition of the built environment. At the heart of this project, a key word: insulation. In Namur, the company ISOLUTION has made it its main concern.

Founded fifteen years ago, the company was taken over at the end of 2021 by Arnaud Vierendeel and Grégoire Thunis, two young engineers convinced that it was time to change the paradigm. Their ambition: to accelerate the energy renovation of Walloon homes, placing bio-based materials at the centre of the issues. Less polluting, more sustainable, often produced locally, they provide a concrete response to climate challenges — all while improving comfort.

The demand

Since its creation, ISOLUTION embodies this new generation of building companies. However, it was rarely heard of in the media. This is how we launched our first collaboration, with a clear objective: not to merely praise the merits of the company, but to more broadly place the issue of bio-based materials at the centre of public debate.

A strategy that has proven successful! In just a few weeks, many media outlets expressed their interest, curious about this different, conscious, and forward-looking approach: La Libre, Le Soir, Nostalgie, Sudinfo, La DH, and BATIBOUW. And more are yet to come!
