The project in a nutshell

Since 2020, we have been working for the Belgian French-speaking book promotion label “Lisez-vous le belge ?” Our work has followed two main directions.

The first is the execution of national public relations campaigns around the annual event “Lisez-vous le belge ?” organized each November by PILEn to promote Belgian French-speaking literature.

We also created the graphic identity and logo of the label at the time of its inception

National campaigns promoting Belgian books 📚

Every year we manage the promotional campaign for the French-speaking Belgian book initiative, "Lisez-vous le belge?", organized in November by PILEn (the Interprofessional Partnership for Books and Digital Publishing). The idea was initially to launch the campaign and then make it sustainable. The goal? To spotlight all the players in the book industry and raise the profile of Belgian books among the general public. This is an unprecedented movement that brings people together and enables numerous events, recommendations, discoveries, and the participation of bookstagrammers, among others.

For five consecutive years, we have been responsible for the national and local media campaign targeting the general public. This colossal work involves extensive editorial research: which authors to feature in which media outlets, specific book selections, bookstagrammers from particular regions, new releases, reports from schools, discovering bookstores and publishing houses, etc. The goal? To provide maximum coverage—from the smallest projects to the largest—and tailor it perfectly for each media outlet!

Year after year, the PR results have improved, reaching nearly 100 media results during the latest campaign across 46 different media. As part of the campaign, we also manage social media : editorial planning, preparing visuals based on the campaign’s identity, copywriting, stories, and sponsored content strategy on Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Our goal is to reach the widest audience possible, build loyalty among existing readers, and engage new readers in the making !


The visual identity 🎨

But before that, we worked with Wallonie-Bruxelles International to create the identity of the "Lisez-vous le belge?" label, with the aim of promoting the richness of Belgian literature internationally. The challenge? To design a simple and elegant identity, connected to the literary world, while reflecting the absurd and quirky spirit of Belgian culture.

We opted for a black and white logo that could easily be adapted into any language, cleverly playing with the mirrored shapes of certain letters. We then expanded this identity across social media, a dedicated website, and branded merchandise.
