O'Tacos is the leading brand on the “French tacos” market—a fusion food concept that reinvents the classic Mexican taco with a French twist. Belgians were the first European customers to cross the French border just to get a taste of the now-famous tacos. In response to this enthusiasm, the brand opened its first restaurant in Brussels, which was an instant hit !

Since then, O'Tacos has expanded to over 300 locations across France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Germany, Spain, and Italy.

Today, brands like O'Tacos aren’t afraid to embrace bold and sometimes cheeky communication strategies : cultural references, playful jabs at competitors, self-deprecating humor, and more. In 2021, the French chain launched a campaign built around a cult Belgian reference: Dallas sauce, made famous by the film Dikkenek. They posted a photo of actor Mourade Zeguendi, one of the film’s stars, on social media to announce the sauce’s arrival in their restaurants. A daring move that quickly evolved into a full-blown advertising campaign and an official collaboration with the actor.

That’s when we came into the picture, overseeing the shoot of the TV commercial.

Alongside that, we’ve also carried out several motion design assignments for the brand.
